Aesthetic treatments involve medical procedures that, while safe for most, can have complications if certain medical conditions are present. Our screening ensures that we only proceed with treatments that are safe and appropriate for you.
Essential Suitability Criteria
Medical History
We must be aware of autoimmune conditions, bleeding disorders, active skin infections (such as cold sores), and any history of keloid scarring.
Medications & Allergies
Blood-thinners (aspirin, ibuprofen, warfarin) and certain supplements can increase bruising risk. We must also verify allergies to lidocaine, eggs, or proteins.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
As a precautionary measure, aesthetic injectable treatments are not performed on clients who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
Psychological Wellbeing
We assess for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) and ensure that your aesthetic goals are realistic and achievable through the proposed procedures.
