Informed consent is a continuous process. Below you will find essential pre-treatment and aftercare instructions for each of our services.
Botulinum Toxin (Anti-Wrinkle)
Pre-Treatment
- check Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior.
- check Avoid blood-thinning meds (Aspirin, Ibuprofen) for 1 week.
- check Attend with a clean face (no makeup).
Aftercare
- warning Keep upright for 4 hours post-injection.
- warning Do not rub or massage the treated area for 24 hours.
- warning Avoid strenuous exercise and heat (saunas) for 48 hours.
Dermal Fillers (Lips & Cheeks)
Pre-Treatment
- check Arnica tablets can be started 2 days before to reduce bruising.
- check Notify us if you have a history of cold sores (Antivirals may be needed).
Aftercare
- warning Swelling and bruising are expected for 2-7 days.
- warning Avoid flying for 7 days post-treatment.
- warning Seek immediate medical attention if skin becomes pale, mottled, or painful.
Skin Boosters (Profhilo)
Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment. Small bumps at injection sites are normal and usually disappear within 24 hours.
Key Advice
- check Stay hydrated to maximize the hyaluronic acid's effect.
- check Avoid other facial treatments for 2 weeks.
Medical Microneedling
Aftercare
- warning Your skin will feel like mild sunburn for 24-48 hours.
- warning Use only the provided post-procedure cream for 24 hours.
- warning SPF 50 is mandatory every day following treatment.
IV Vitamin Therapy
Pre-Treatment
- check Eat a light meal before your appointment.
- check Drink plenty of water (500ml+) 1 hour before.
Aftercare
- warning Keep the dressing on for at least 15 minutes.
- warning Avoid heavy lifting with the injected arm for 2 hours.
